The Global Mennonite Peacebuilding Conference is excited to announce the release of our schedule of events. Our four day conference and festival will include several concurrent sessions of panels and workshops, art displays, engaging plenary speakers and, exciting evening events.

Sponsored by Tourmagination, Theatre of the Beat will be presenting a commissioned play on the theme of conscientious objectors entitled, “Yellow Bellies: an alternative history of WWII.” Another exciting commission that the conference will feature is the musical performance, “Voices for Peace,” which is sponsored by St Jacobs’ Country.

The schedule of concurrent sessions (which is to be released soon), will feature panels, workshops, and paper presentations from leading peace practitioners, educators and historians from all over the world. Topics will range from Church and State, to Spirituality and Big Picture Peace Theology.

The conference is sponsored by the Mennonite Savings and Credit Union, with the Friday night banquet being sponsored by Ten Thousand Villages, and Mennonite Economic Development Associates sponsoring the plenary speakers.

Registration for the conference is now open, and the full schedule of events is available on our website.
